The Strategy for entering new markets is considered as a determining factor for survival and sustained growth of great organizations. Therefore as of the beginning of 2004, Bahman Group with the goal of developing part of its activities recruited a professional team of experts and entered the energy and petrochemical industry targeting the upper hand, middle hand and lower hand sections of the industry.

To materialize this goal and to meet the purpose of localizing oil industry technologies, as of 2004 Bahman Group got actively engaged in the industry upon establishing companies such as Ariadana Energy Group, Ariadana Drilling Management Co. and Nik Sanat Parsian Co. Recently after careful feasibility studies and pinpointing the attractive sections of the market, establishing a refinery for producing bitumen from extra heavy oil at Qeshm Island was set as the strategic target and the first experience of Ariana Dana Energy Group in the field of energy and lower hand oil and gas industries. Among its other activities in this field is procurement of in-land drilling oil rig and jack up as leasing and leasing with condition of ownership. Meanwhile there are other projects under study for geo-thermal energies and well drilling.
