Iran Docharkh Co., was established in 1970 to produce various types of motorcycle and bicycle in technical and commercial collaboration with famous international companies such as the French Peugeot and the Japanese Yamaha.

It took the company two years to install the necessary equipment and finally it became operational as of 1972 in Alborz industrial town near Gazvin city. The factory is located in an area of 80,000 square meters with the total 58,000 square meter of production and administrational infrastructure.

Today with the annual production capacity of 125,000 motorcycle and 204,000 bicycles, the company is one of the greatest manufacturers of bicycle and motorcycle in Iran and one of the most important exporters of motorcycle to Iran's neighboring countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan.

Iran Docharkh Co., produces a variety of motorcycle and bicycle using and R& D centre, computer based systems, paint shop, Physics and Chemistry labs and three production lines.

Because of its technological capabilities the company has been able to earn standard and quality awards by the standard institute so as to establish its position in the market as a high quality producer.
