Iran National Investment Co. is a public stock investment and development company which was established in Nov.1975 and was registered among the companies in Tehran stock exchange in Feb.1976.

Company's mission:

The company's mission has been defined in the articles of association as follows:

- Direct investment or cooperation in founding, developing and operating production and industrial projects

- Trading bonds as well as the stocks of production and service companies

- Encouraging and facilitating investment by real and legal persons through offering consultation and investment management

- Protecting the rights of small shareholders

Company's capital:

The company was established with a capital of 10 billion IRL including 10 million shares each amounting to 1000 IRL. After the development of its activities in later years this initial capital was increased to the present 2900 billion IRL including 2900 million shares each amounting to 1000 IRL

Company's fiscal year:

The fiscal year of the company starts in Nov.22 and finishes in Dec.21

Company's activities:

Using a highly experienced and professional team, the company serves as a link between investors' money and the country's economy and also profits its share holders by its clear economic vision. The company utilizes its capital and other gradually acquired finances to invest in public stock companies involved in industry and production. The profits gained as the result of the activities of the mentioned companies and also by trading stocks will be calculated and distributed among the share holders. Therefore the share holders of the company are in fact the indirect share holders of a considerable number of public stock companies nationwide. The portfolio of the stocks owned by the company includes a great variety of companies to minimize risk and maximize profitability.

The company also analyzes the economic activities of production companies and predicts their profitability. the professional team of the company analyzes different groups within the industry, potential companies suitable for investment, fluctuations in the market as well as the issues affecting the capital market and reflect the findings of their analyses to the managers in the form of an analytical report so that decisions can be made for solving problems and engaging in potentially profitable investments. The company also has direct supervision over the activities of the invested companies by taking part in their annual assembly and appointing board members.
